A premium Merino double knit, also known as an interlock, designed for comfort, warmth, and everyday wear. Unlike a single jersey knit, interlock is knitted with two layers of loops, creating a denser, more stable structure with a smoother surface and extra body.
At 250gsm, this midweight Merino knit is ideal for cooler weather sewing projects. It offers natural warmth while remaining breathable and comfortable against the skin, making it perfect for winter garments and layering pieces.
The double knit construction gives this fabric less curl at the edges and better shape retention, making it easier to sew than many lightweight wool jerseys. It’s well suited to tops, cardigans, pants, dresses, skirts, and elevated basics.

Fabric Care: Machine wash on a gentle or wool cycle using wool detergent only, as regular detergent may damage fibres and cause holes. Do not bleach or wring. Tumble dry on a cool setting or lay flat to dry in the shade. Iron on a wool setting if needed. Do not dry clean.
