Shipping policy

All Fabric Box online orders are carefully picked and packed in-store by our team in Morningside, Auckland. Orders are usually dispatched within 1–3 business days of being placed.

New Zealand Shipping

  • Flat-rate shipping is calculated at checkout based on your delivery location, not the size or weight of your parcel.

  • Courier satchel rates are consistent across sizes (from A5 to A2), and we simply pass on this cost to you.

  • We use Castle Parcels, Post Haste, and NZ Post for reliable delivery nationwide.

  • PO Boxes are not accepted - please provide a physical street address at checkout.

Delivery Timeframes (after dispatch):

  • Auckland: 1–3 business days

  • Rest of NZ: 2–4 business days

  • Rural: May take a little longer

Note: We do not offer an urgent or overnight delivery service.

Free Shipping

Spend $200 or more in a single transaction and receive Free Shipping (NZ only).
Excludes custom mail orders and oversized items.

Shipping to Australia

We currently ship from New Zealand, and all orders are dispatched from our Auckland store within 1–3 business days.

  • Shipping is charged at a flat rate by state, based on the distance from us to you.

  • Orders are sent via Australia Post, managed through NZ Post. You may see a NSW sender on your label, but rest assured - it is c/- Fabric Box.

Delivery Timeframes:

(Tracked via NZ Post / Australia Post – Parcel Post)

  • Metro & Urban: 3–8 working days from dispatch

  • Rural: 3–10 working days from dispatch

Delivery Notes:

  • Our parcels are sent with Authority to Leave - if you're not home, your courier will leave the parcel in a safe spot where possible.

  • No safe spot? A Card to Call will be left so you can arrange redelivery.

  • Need a signature on delivery? Just leave a note at checkout or email us after placing your order.

  • We deliver to PO Boxes and Parcel Lockers within Australia, please enter this at checkout.

Australian Customs & Duties

Orders over AUD $1,000 may incur import duties and taxes as required by Australian law.
These are the customer’s responsibility and are typically based on the total order value (including shipping). For more information, please refer to Australian Border Force guidelines.

All prices on our Australian website (fabricbox.com.au) are displayed in AUD and charged in AUD at checkout.

Ordering Samples

If you’re only ordering sample swatches only, we’re happy to send them in a complimentary post-paid envelope.

Please note:

  • Delivery for samples can take 10–30 working days (metro & rural)

  • Delivery times may vary, and delays are outside of our control

  • If samples are ordered with fabric, they’ll be included in your main tracked parcel, we recommend this option for faster delivery.
